Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £42k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor in the Midlands region. You will be joining a leading UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, with a nationwide presence and strong reputation. They are seeking someone who holds a wealth of industry knowledge, who is confident working independently on site. It is essential that applicants will have proven experience working across commercial, domestic and local authority premises. Our client is able to provide training into the analytical and even project management. In addition, they are offering attractive salaries and comprehensive benefits packages.

Locations of work include: Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Daventry, Northampton, Walsall, Burntwood, Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Rugeley, Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Nottingham, Derby, Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Asbestos Consultant
– Will have worked within a UKAS accredited company
– Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Good working knowledge of HSG 264 legislation
– Strong literacy and numeracy skills
– Confident using IT software to complete reports

The Role:
– Conducting thorough management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Performing re-inspection surveys
– Collecting ACM samples from site
– Producing detailed technical reports for clients
– Creating site-specific technical reports to accompany reports
– Wearing correct PPE at all times
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
– Supporting trainee surveyors
– Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
