Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £43k + Training & Benefits

A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to cover new regional contracts. Ideally, you will be based with good access to the M1/A1M for easier travel across the Home Counties and South East of England. You will be performing detailed asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across domestic and commercial contracts. It is paramount that applicants hold robust industry technical knowledge of HSG and UKAS guidelines. compliance guidelines. Experience / Qualifications:
– Hands-on experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
– Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Good understanding of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
– Great written and verbal communication skills
– Strong literacy and numeracy skill level
– Proficient using IT software

The Role:
– Attending client sites to conduct thorough management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Safely obtaining ACM samples from site
– Delivering samples to the laboratory for analysis
– Carrying out re-inspection surveys
– Working across a range of domestic and commercial contracts
– Producing accurate and detailed survey reports and schematic drawings
– Providing regular technical advice and project updates to clients
– Wearing correct PPE on site
– Maintaining strong relationships with clients
