Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £42k + Training & Benefits

A successful Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in the North West of England. They are seeking someone who is confident in undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys, across domestic and commercial premises. You will be covering sites across the region, along the M62 and M6 corridors, so ideally, you will be located close to these major routes. We are also able to accept applications from dual Surveyor / Analysts and Site Analysts, as our client has won diverse contracts. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle and fuel card.

Locations of work include: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan, Leigh, St Helens, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Southport, Formby, Crosby, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Chester, Preston, Lytham St Annes, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Holmfirth.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, Surveyor / Analyst or Asbestos Site Analyst
– Will hold: BOHS P402 and / or P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
– Good working knowledge of UKAS and HSG guidelines
– Adaptable to changing client needs
– Hardworking attitude
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:
– Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys on domestic and commercial premises
– Re-inspection surveys
– Safely obtaining ACM samples for analysis
– For analysts, you will be performing 4 stage clearances and full air monitoring duties
– Producing site-specific technical reports and floorplans
– Providing regular project updates to clients, and answering any technical questions
– Working to agreed deadlines and project scopes
– Liaising with clients and third parties
– Adhering to safety guidelines
