Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: East Kilbride, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a medium-sized Asbestos consultancy, who have a strong presence in the Central Belt of Scotland. They are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, to undertake thorough Asbestos Surveys across a range of commercial, local authority and domestic premises. It is essential that candidates have a proven track record within the industry, and must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime opportunities, training and pension scheme.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
– Excellent working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 compliance standards
– Professional manner
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:
– Undertaking management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection asbestos surveys
– Working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, local authority and domestic premises
– Safely collecting samples from site for analysis
– Producing site-specific asbestos survey reports
– Meeting with clients to provide advice on findings
– Working to set personal targets and project deadlines
– Representing the company in a professional manner
– Ensuring to adhere to safety guidelines
