Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to recent growth, a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit is seeking a qualified and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. You will be travelling throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys on domestic and commercial sites. Applicants must have existing industry experience and will be qualified with either the BOHS or RSPH surveying ticket. Locations of work include: Glasgow, Cambuslang, Giffnock, East Kilbride, Bellshill, Airdrie, Larkhall, Carluke, Barrhead, Renfrew, Johnstone, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Beith, Kilmarnock, Lenzie, Bishopbriggs, Croy, Cumernauld, Stirling, Strathaven, Bathgate, Whitburn, Livingston, Lilithgow, Bo’ness, Edinburgh, Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
– Working knowledg of HSG 264 guidelines
– Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– IT literate

The Role:
– Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Completing re-inspection asbestos surveys
– Collecting asbestos containing samples from site and bagging correctly
– Producing detailed survey reports and floor plans
– Providing sound technical advice to clients
– Working across a variety of domestic and commercial sites
– Adhering to strict deadlines and personal targets
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
