Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a professional, UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, who have recently won new business in the South East region. They are seeking a qualifed and switched-on Asbestos Surveyor to cover a range of commercial and domestic client sites. You will suit this role if you have strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience, and ideally seeking to join a respected and successful outfit. Locations of work include: Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, Wickford, Hockley, Canvey Island, South Benfleet, Southend-on-Sea, Maldon, Chelmsford, Epping, Chesunt, Chigwell, Enfield, Romford, Barking, Hornchurch, Braintree, Bishop’s Stortford, Colchester, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Watford, Buntingford, Erith, Dartford, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Maidstone.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Strong history of working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
– Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
– Good time management skills
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Proficient in the use of IT software, such as: microsoft office and TEAMS

The Role:
– Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Sampling for asbestos on site
– Producing thorough technical survey reports, including floorplans
– Providing detailed technical advice to clients, and answering any techncial queries
– Representing the company in a professional manner
– Ensuring to meet deadlines and targets
– Travelling in line with company requirements
– Upholding the company’s morals and ethics
