Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos surveyor
Location: Nottingham, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £36k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos surveyor through to Lead Asbestos surveyor
Profile: Our client is a multidiscipline asbestos / Health & Safety Consultancy who work hard to provide their clients with the full range of asbestos and health & safety services. They are now looking to take on a P402 qualified and competent asbestos surveyor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveying serviced on a mixed rage of sites in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation. Consideration will also be given to Trainee asbestos surveyors.
Applications will be considered from: Derby, Leicester, Long Eaton, Loughborough, Mansfield, Burton Upton Trent, Wigston, Hinkley, Tamworth, Walsall, Dudley, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Bromsgrove.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
” Must be well versed within relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Will have previous experience working within the asbestos industry.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing
” Undertaking management, demolition, and refurbishment surveys on a mixed range of sites.
” Using information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
” Supervising contractors on site and ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant health and safety procedures.
” Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
