Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: Our client is a Multidisciplined Environmental/ Compliance company has a position open for an Asbestos Surveyor. Open minded about experience and would consider a candidate with long term experience, or those with just a P402 and or minimal on site experience, looking to build their career. The client provides service to clients across the UK, and the successful candidate will be tasked with carrying out management, R&D and re-inspection surveys to a broad range of client sites. A company van, fuel card, equipment and tools will all be provided; alongside scope for further module, H&S and CDM training.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the P402 (or equivalent) asbestos qualification.
” Will ideally have current / previous experience working within the asbestos industry.
” Will be up to date with relevant Health and safety qualifications.
” Proficient in using Microsoft Office, PDA & Tablet Systems.
” Experience in using TEAMS/ TRACKER. (Desirable)
The Role:
” Carrying out management / Refurbishemt / Demolition surveys for a varied portfolio of clients.
” Producing reports by use of PDA/ Industry Software.
” Safe sampling of ACM’s and bagging/ labelling correctly.
” Working with external contractors.
” Maintaining excellent working knowledge of HSG guidelines.
” Ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and safety guidelines.
