Job Description
Our client is a leading company within the Asbestos / Environmental industry and due to an increase in contracts they are looking to take on a hard working and consensus Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working in the asbestos industry, carrying out analytical duties on a mixed portfolio of clients. Consideration will be given to candidate from Croydon, Tunbridge wells, Sevenoaks, Bromley, and the surrounding areas,
Qualifications and experience
Ideally, the applicant must hold the P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have varied and valid experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.
Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Role
Undertaking 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air-testing on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety legislation appertaining to asbestos.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports as and when required.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients and customers.
Overall, the ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic as well as valuable industry knowledge and experience.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.
