Job Title: Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £40k – £55k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and respected name within the Asbestos industry, who holds a strong presence across the South West of England. They have recently won new business in the region and require a professional and proactive Asbestos Contracts Manager, who can utilise their experience to manage the delivery of removals projects for licensed works. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge as well as a strong work ethic and proven team management experience. Our client is able to consider candidates who have robust experience as a Removals Supervisor, or Asbestos Analysts, as they can support further training and development within the role. Ideally, you will be located around: Bristol, Keynsham, Bath, Trowbridge, Melksham, Chippenham, Corsham, Nailsea, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-Super-Mare, Yate, Thornbury, Frome, Warminster, Radstock, Brean, Wells, Shepton Mallett, Glastonbury, Street, Bridgwater, Taunton, Wellington, Ilminster, Yeovil, Chard, Axminster, Honiton, Tiverton, Minehead, Exeter, Sidmouth, Seaton, Dorchester.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven track record as an Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager (or Asbestos Removals Supervisor)
– Will hold the ARCA Contracts Manager ticket (or equivalent)
– Holds valid CSCS, SMSTS / SSSTS
– Excellent industry technical knowledge
– Strong communicator
– Able to successfully manage teams of removal operatives
– Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Able to oversee simultaneous projects

The Role:
– Successfully managing licensed asbestos removals projects
– Ensuring works are completed within agreed deadlines and scope
– Monitoring safety adherence on site, and highlighting any non-compliance
– Overseeing removals teams and supervisors, providing support and training where needed
– Allocating workloads efficiently
– Meeting with clients to provide project updates and to assess completed works
– Handling any complaints / logistical issues
– Producing RAMS for projects
– Creating competitive and detailed tenders and quotations for projects
– Conducting performance reviews with staff members
– Fostering strong client relationships
– Completing risk assessments and method statements prior to works starting
– Travelling to client sites as required
– Reporting into Directors to monitor company performance
– Supporting ongoing company growth
