Job Title: Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £50k – £65k + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known name within the Asbestos Removals industry, who have a stronghold in the South East of England. Our client is seeking someone with an impressive track record within the industry, excellent team management skills and robust industry knowledge. Ideally, interested applicants will be commercially-minded, and will be able to identify and pursue new business leads, in addition to further promoting company services. You must be able to hit the ground running, as you will be overseeing ongoing and new projects from the onset. The successful applicant can expect attractive base salaries, in addition to comprehensive benefits packages, including: company vehicle, pension scheme and annual leave.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Successful track record working as an Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager
– Will have undertaken ARCA / UKATA training
– Ideally will hold a valid SMSTS / SSSTS
– Strong team management skills
– Able to articulate technical matters to clients
– Excellent technical knowledge
– Good literacy and numeracy skill level
– IT proficient

The Role:
– Being responsible for the smooth delivery of licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal projects
– Allocating workloads for teams of site staff, ensuring it is distributed evenly and efficiently
– Overseeing teams of staff, completing training and competency checks
– Making recommendations for training for internal staff members
– Scoping sites for new projects and completing risk assessments and method statements
– Ensuring projects run in line with agreed budget and timeframes
– Organising the hiring and off-hiring of equipment
– Ordering materials and tools
– Producing thorough tenders and quotations for works
– Meeting with clients to promote and upsell company services
– Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical and logistical queries
– Troubleshooting issues whilst on site
