Job Title: Asbestos Project / Operations Manager
Location: Chelmsford, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Project /Quality Manager through to Lead Asbestos Project /Quality Manager

Profile: Out client is a rapidly growing UKAS accredited asbestos company with a national presence. They work hard to provide the full range of asbestos services to a range of Healthcare, Local Authority, and Housing Association clients across the UK. They are now looking to take on an organised and self-motivated Asbestos Project / Operations Manager based in and around the Chelmsford area. The ideal candidate will hold the CocA / CCP qualification and will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry working within a project / operation management role; overseeing and managing projects across a range of sites, overseeing surveyor and analyst ensuring that work is being carried out in line with UKAS guidelines. The successful postholder will hold a strong technical knowledge and ideally will have experience maintaining and obtaining UKAS accreditations

Experience & Qualifications:
” The applicant will ideally possess the CoCA/CCP qualification,
” Will have extensive experience within the asbestos industry.
” Previous experience auditing and training staff would be beneficial.
” Ideally will have experience maintaining and obtaining UKAS accreditations.
” Hold a proven track record of providing technical advice to clients.
” Must have excellent communication and organisational skills.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Overseeing and project managing on a mixed range of clients.
” Dealing with any issues promptly, appropriately and effectively and ensuring all work is carried out within time frame.
” Overseeing Asbestos Surveyors and Analysts on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in line with UKAS accreditation.
” Getting involved with training and mentoring of site staff.
” Undertaking site audits, inspections, and quality control.
” Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
” Ensuring all works are being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety regulations.
” Attending meetings when and as required.
” Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
