Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber
Profile: A multi-discipline and well-established business who specialise within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry are now seeking to employ a hardworking and qualified Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds (or NVQ) L2 / L3 in plumbing, and will have extensive experience carrying out CWST cleans and disinfections, Flushing little used outlets, Temperature monitoring and Showerhead descales across Local Authority, Social Housing, Healthcare, Retail, Industrial and Facilities management sites.
Applications will be considered from: Edinburgh. Livingstone, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Sterling, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Lanark.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in Plumbing and will ideally have experience working for an established Water Hygiene company.
” Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Able to use PDA systems and work in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out Water Sampling, Temperature monitoring and TMV servicing and installations.
” CWST cleans and Chlorination and Modifying any related pipework.
” Carrying our removal of redundant pipework to ensure it complies and is in control of legionella risk.
” Continuing to Build and maintain excellent rapport with clients,
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / Health and Safety Guidelines.
” Using handheld PDA / Tablet systems to provide clients with detailed reports.
” Flushing of all little used outlets.
” Hot water cylinder servicing.
