Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst / Manager
Location: Romford, Southeast.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £30k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Asbestos Lab Manager
Profile: Out client is a well known UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy who provide a wide range of asbestos duties across the UK to a mixed range of clients. Due to increase of work loads they are now looking to take on a P401 Qualified Lab Analyst / Manager. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working as an asbestos lab analyst, overseeing the laboratory team ensuring that all works are being carried out in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
Applications will be considered from: Basildon, Billericay, Braintree, Brentwood, Carney Island, Colchester, Chelmsford, Dagenham, Grays, Rainham, Rayleigh, Rochford, Romford, Southend-on-Sea, Stanford-le-hope, Wickford, Witham.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the P401 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
” Will ideally hold supervisory/management experience within an asbestos lab.
” Holding a strong technical, quality, audit and laboratory background is essential.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Ensuring that all analytical equipment is maintained regularly.
” Providing training and management to staff when needed.
” Ensure that all works are being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Ensuring that the workspace is being kept tidy at all times.
” Ensure that all samples are stored and dealt with appropriately.
” Monitoring work carried out and maintaining stocks and materials.
” Undertaking audit checks.
” Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
