Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Location: Sunderland, Northeast.
Salary / Benefits £20K – £26K +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst
Profile: Our client is a established asbestos consult nay, who provide the full range of asbestos serviced to a mixed range of clints across the UK. They are now looking to take on a qualified and organised Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Sunderland area. The ideal candidate will hold the P401 Qualification and will have extensive experience working within a laboratory setting within the asbestos industry.
Applications will be considered from: Newcastle upon Tyne, South Shields, Gateshead, Morpeth, Durham, Ashington, Alnwick, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Middlesbrough.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the P401 or RSPH Equivalent qualification.
” Must have a proven track record working in a laboratory and within the asbestos industry.
” Must have excellent organisational skills.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory
” Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content efficiently and adhering to UKAS regulations
” Completing analysis test sheets as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within required time frame.
” Getting involved with other laboratory tasks as and when required.
” Entering data and analysing and checking reports.
” Completing and uploading reports as and when required.
” Liaising and assisting clients with regards to enquiries.
” Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff
