Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £19k – £25k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst

Profile: Our clint is a recognised name within the asbestos industry, carrying out the full range of asbestos services across the UK. They are now looking to take on an accurate and confident Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Doncaster area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience within the asbestos industry, holding the P401 qualification working within a laboratory setting, carrying out analysis on samples, logging information to an internal database and competing analysis test sheets.
Applications will be considered from: Rotherham, Worksop, Sheffield, Retford, Gainsborough, Lincon, Grantham, Hull, Barnsley, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Castleford.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the P401 qualification or RSPH equivalent.
” Will have extensive knowledge in the Asbestos industry and hold experience working within a laboratory setting,
” Will have extensive knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislations.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
Undertaking asbestos lab analysis roles –
” Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
o Preparing samples for analysis.
o carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
o Completing analysis test sheets, a relevant report within required time frame.
o Getting involved with other laboratory tasks as and when required.
” Liaising and assisting clients with regards to enquiries.
” Liaising with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff
” Building and maintaining a good working relationship with customers/clients.
