Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Location: Romford, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £20k – £27k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst

Profile: An independent and busy UKAS accredited Asbestos Company, are now seeking to employ a thorough and organised Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Romford area. The ideal candidate will come from an Asbestos background, ideally working within a laboratory setting, carrying out preparation and analysis of samples for fibre content, as well as, completing analysis test sheets and providing clients with the findings within the agreed timeframe.

Applications will be considered from: Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Grays, Stanford-le-Hope, Rainham, Dartford, Basildon, Hornchurch, Ilford, Dagenham, Billericay, Brentwood, Erith.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P401 qualification.
” Excellent knowledge of the Asbestos industry and will be well versed within relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Confident in using industry relevant systems.
” Will have a keen eye for detail.

The Role:
” Accurately logging and storing all asbestos samples upon arrival to the laboratory.
” Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis, carrying out analysis for fibre content in line with UKAS regulations.
” Filling out analysis sheets upon completion of sample analysis, ensuring they are filled out accurately and sent back to clients within agreed time frame.
” Getting involved with other laboratory tasks when and as required as well as carrying out any administrative duties.
” Entering data accurately onto internal systems and checking reports.
” Completing all reports and uploading within agreed timeframe.
” Liaising with clients, and dealing with any enquiries efficiently, offering technical help when requires.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / UKAS regulations.
