Job Description
Our client is a well-established and successful UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who provides a wide range of asbestos and environmental services to clients across the South East of England. Due to recent expansion, they are actively recruiting for a hard-working and reliable Asbestos Consultant/Quality Manager based in or around the Chelmsford area. This an excellent opportunity for somebody who is currently under-taking a lead asbestos consultant and is looking to develop their asbestos career further. Applications from Colchester, Dartford, Basildon, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications:
Must hold the P402/P403/P404 qualifications or equivalent asbestos certificate.
Ideally will come from a technical, quality, auditing or management background.
Significant experience working in a similar role and with a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy.
Have experience in under-taking asbestos surveying and analytical duties.
Good communication skills both written and verbal and IT proficient.
The ability to organise and manage own workload with good attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Conducting Asbestos Surveys, Site Analytical work to a varied site base.
Assist in managing and update the company’s Quality Systems.
Conducting localised QC/auditing.
Assisting with the UKAS accreditation – auditing in accordance to regulations.
Get involved with training clients/staff.
Ensure the company maintains a good level of technical and quality competence in all areas of work.
Travel to sites – provide advice to clients on quality systems and deal with any issues effectively.
Liaise with other managers/directors.
