Job Title: Asbestos Bid Manager / Writer
Location: Bolton, Northwest.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Bid Manager / Writer through to Lead Asbestos Bid Manager / Writer

Profile: Our client is a leading UKAS accredited company who provide the full range of asbestos works to a range of Commercial and public sector clients across the UK. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and organised Asbestos Bid Manager / Writer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry, overseeing a team of bid writers as well as providing clients with PQQs, ITTs and tender returns.
Applications will be considered from: Oldham, Manchester, Wigan, Bury, Rochdale, Stockport, Warrington, Liverpool, Birkenhead, St Helens, Preston, Blackburn, Lancashire, Burnley, Chorley, Cheshire, Crewe.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold previous experience working within the asbestos industry working within a bid management / writing role.
” Will have working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
” Will have excellent organisational skills.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Maintaining registrations with appropriate authorities/bodies to ensure receipt of relevant EOIs, PQQs and Tender notifications.
” Ensuring that the bid process is running efficiently and effectively.
” Liaising with the company’s teams to assess any new opportunities.
” Managing bid input from stakeholders, sales, marketing finance technical teams and legal.
” Undertaking completion of written proposals
” Overseeing a team of bid writers.
” Maintaining an effective archive/filing structure for past submissions, etc.
” Monitoring and evaluating the success rates and conversions.
” Managing various sites simultaneously and ensuring that all work is up to date.
