Job Title: Asbestos Bid Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45K +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Bid Manager through to Lead Asbestos Bid Manager
Profile: Our client is a well-established asbestos removals consultancy, working across retail, leisure, educational, healthcare, and social housing contracts. They are now looking to take on an organised and self-sufficient Asbestos Bid Manager based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry, carrying out producing tenders and PQQ’s, overseeing a team of bid writers and ensuing that the bid process is running efficiently and within set time frames.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry working in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
” Must be well versed within relevant Health & Safety legislation.
” Will ideally come from a previous bid writing role.
” Must have excellent organisational skills.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Ensuring that the bid process is running efficiently and effectively.
” Ensuring that the bid team acre carrying out work effectively.
” Managing bid input from stakeholders, sales, marketing finance technical teams and legal.
” Undertaking completion of written proposals.
” Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients.
” Managing various sites simultaneously and ensuring that all work is up to date.
