Job Title: Asbestos Analyst
Location: Chelmsford, Essex.
Salary: 22k – 35k.
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Site Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Consultant

Profile:
An independent Asbestos Consultancy, who pride themselves on providing expert asbestos surveying, testing and management services to longstanding client base across the South East. They are currently recruiting for a professional and technically minded Asbestos Site Analyst to work on Commercial and Industrial sites. The successful candidate will hold the P403/4 and be confident in carrying out a range of air monitoring and inspection services to a varied site base. In return, the client can offer excellent scope for career development and training into further P Certs.

The position will be homebased, cover contracts across the Essex / East Anglia region. Consideration will be given to applicants based in; Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Maldon, Braintree, Colchester, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Thetford, Norwich, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications:
– Hold a minimum of the P403 & P404 or equivalent RSPH qualification.
– Proven track record of undertaking asbestos air monitoring duties to a varied site base.
– Strong knowledge of HSG 248 Guidelines and industry legislation.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Role:
– Carrying out background, leak, and reassurance air testing on both short-term and long-term removal projects.
– Inspection of remediation work as part of the 4 Stage Clearance process.
– Undertaking airborne fibre counting.
– Accurately collecting of site data to generate asbestos site reports.
– Overseeing contractors to ensure work is compliant with industry H&S guidelines.
– Providing written reports for completed works.
– Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legislation and guidelines.
– Providing excellent customer service and answering any queries from the client.
