Job Description
Our client is one is a highly successful consultancy within the water treatment/water hygiene sectors. They are now seeking the services of a commited and multi-skilled Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the Harrogate area and will include applications from Thirsk, Ripon, Knaresborough, Skipton and the surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications:
Must come from a good technical, chemical, accounts, management and educational background.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Must have hands on experience as a Water Treatment Engineer.
Having experience in carrying out Legionella risk assessments would be advantageous.
Must have significant experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing, managing and monitoring the water treatment systems, in particular Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, etc.
Managing the Water Treatment Engineers on site.
Liaising with clients and providing technical consultancy advice as and when required.
Providing quotations.
Tenders.
Allocating jobs.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with the client’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Conducting routine sampling of water systems – interpretation of results.
Maintaining and installing chemical dosing systems.
Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately and effective,
