Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Installation Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £40k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Equipment Installation Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Equipment Installation Engineer

Our client is a limited company, operating across the UK for healthcare, government, and leisure sites .They are now looking to take on a Water Treatment Equipment Installation Engineer based in and around the Reading area. The ideal applicant will have good experience working for a recognised Water Treatment/ Water Treatment Equipment company; well versed in the installation and associated servicing of Water Softeners, UV & RO Units, CL02 Units and Chemical Dosing Equipment. The role attracts a company van with fuel card, good rates of travel time and overtime, as well as profit related / loyalty bonuses.

” Will have current / previous experience within the water treatment industry and an electrical bias/ background.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and safety guidelines.
” Will ideally hold a Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification as well as 17th or 18th Edition.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

” Carrying out industrial water softener servicing and maintenance across a mixed portfolio of sites. Added industrial as you get smaller softeners on domestic sites too.
” Undertaking installations/ replacements of RO and CL02 Systems, UV Filtration and Chemical Dosing Equipment.
” Carrying out servicing and maintenance on water treatment equipment.
” Undertaking pre-work risk assessments.
” Associated plumbing and pipework duties.
” Carrying out surveying for future works.
” Dealing with any customer enquiries and ensuring all work is carried out in the correct time frame.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Using information from site to provide clients with detailed reports and advise on any findings and how to rectify them.
