Job Description
Our established client is a recognised name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry and are well known for delivering professional water treatment / legionella services. They are currently looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer to cover a variety of contracts in and around the London area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience carrying out a wide range of water treatment duties to a varied site base and will ideally have experience working with closed systems and cooling towers. Applications from Dartford, Basildon, Harlow, Hemel Hempstead and areas with good access to the M25 will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.
Experience working as a water treatment engineer.
Experience working with closed systems.
Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry.
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
IT literate.
Role:
Performing routine sampling, temperature checks, monitoring air and water systems.
Refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans etc.
Undertaking closed system analysis.
Must comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Maintain professional relationship with clients.
Assisting with evaporative cooling system cleaning.
Remedial works relating to water treatment/hygiene.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be flexible with a good work ethic.
