Job Description
Our client is an established national player who supplies the water treatment / environmental industries. They are looking to secure a tenacious and commercially driven Water Treatment Equipment Sales Engineer based in or around the London area. The successful candidate will ideally come from a strong water chemistry, water equipment or water treatment chemical background and will have a good knowledge of industrial water systems. The candidate will also ideally have hands on experience working as an equipment engineer. Applications from Enfield, Romford, Ilford, or surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications and Experience:
Chemical and Technical experience.
Experience in a field or internal sales-related position within a B2B environment.
Ideally have hands on experience working as an equipment engineer.
Experience of working within the water treatment or purification market would be preferred.
Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry.
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Role:
Research new potential customers.
Follow company procedures which includes authorization of quotations for goods and services.
Visit customers in the sector and introducing them to new products and services as appropriate.
Providing account and technical knowledge support for colleagues in the sales and customer service teams as required.
Managing existing customers accounts.
Requesting training, coaching, and support as necessary to ensure skills and knowledge are maintained.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be flexible with a good work ethic.
