Water Treatment/Equipment Engineer – London

Job Description
Our client is a well-established and highly successful water treatment company with a large presence nationwide. Due to recent contract wins they are looking to employ an experienced and hard-working Water Treatment/Equiptment Engineer based in the London area. This ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the water treatment industry and would be able to under-take a varied range of duties, including but not limited to, closed system / cooling tower analysis and servicing of water treatment equipment. Candidates with good access to the M25 and surrounding counties will be taken into consideration.
Qualifications & experience:
Will have a strong chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Competent with cooling towers, chlorination’s, steam boilers etc.
Experience in the installation and servicing of water treatment equipment.
A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislation.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The cleaning, chlorination and maintenance on both hot and cold-water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers.
Dealing with softeners and dosing units.
Cleaning/servicing of TMV’s, showerheads.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Undertake training and mentoring of staff.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Experience working on CO2 Units, Softeners, RO and UV equipment.
