Job Description
Our client is a leading name in the water treatment/hygiene industry and due to the recent acquisition of several new contracts they now urgently require an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Southend on Sea area. Applications from Basildon, Rayleigh, Rochford, Wickford and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must hold City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing.
Have experience in this role within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant health & safety procedures.
Install and maintain dosing systems.
Collating and providing service reports.
Liaise with clients/customers on a regular basis.
