Job Description
Our client is an established water treatment company. Due to current business needs, they are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join their team based in or around the Reading area. The successful candidate will ideally hold the level 2/3 plumbing qualification and hold experience undertaking duties such as dead leg removals, tank installations and other L8 works. Applications from Slough, Watford, Woking, and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.
Qualifications & experience:
Will have experience in plumbing/water treatment engineering.
Will ideally hold the level 2/3 plumbing qualification.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene legislation and procedures.
Holding a City and Guilds plumbing qualification
Possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft office package.
Key Tasks:
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems, and interpreting the results.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.
Dead leg removals, tank installations and other plumbing remediation.
Closed system analysis.
Completing paperwork for works carried out.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a positive working attitude.
