Job Description
Our client is a highly regarded name within the water treatment industry known for their expertise in providing water treatment/hygiene, and legionella services throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a dedicated, experienced, and reliable Water Treatment Engineer around the Bristol area. The successful post-holder will be experienced in undertaking routine water treatment duties and will ideally have experience undertaking the analysis of closed systems and cooling towers. Applications from Gloucester, Bath, Stroud, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications
Applicants will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.
Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer and knowledge of the water treatment industry are key.
A good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations.
Must possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Experience:
Undertaking Cooling tower and closed system Analysis.
Routine sampling, temperature checks, monitoring air and water systems.
Carrying out tank cleans and disinfections.
Flushing of outlets.
Removal of dead legs.
Undertaking small Plumbing works.
Descaling of showerheads.
Must ensure compliance with all current Health and Safety legislation.
Maintain professional relationship with clients.
Assisting with evaporative cooling system cleaning.
Remedial works relating to water treatment/hygiene.
Professional attributes:
In general, the successful post-holder will be reliable, flexible, with an excellent work ethic.
Must have the ability to carry out the work effectively within the agreed time scale.
Must be prepared to travel to areas designated by the client.
Must be prepared to work within confined space and heights.
