Job Description

Job Title: Water treatment Business Development / Sales manager.
Location: Reading, London.
Salary / Benefits £ 35k- £50k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water treatment Business Development / Sales manager through to Lead Water treatment Business Development / Sales manager

Profile: Highly successful Water Treatment/ Water Hygiene business with a stronghold across the South and Midlands; renowned for providing a high level of service to clients, including blue chip. Due to consistent growth, they are now looking to take on a tenacious Water treatment Business Development / Sales manager based in and around the Reading area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working within the water treatment industry, with an excellent foundation of technical knowledge alongside strong sales skills, selling either clean water equipment or water treatment services to heavy industry and manufacturing clients. In return our client can offer a company vehicle, commission scheme and annual bonuses based off company profits.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong sales, business development, management, technical and engineering background.
” Having experience working for a Water Treatment Equipment or an established Water Treatment player is essential.
” Will have a proven track record of managing and growing business for water treatment services.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Managing a portfolio of existing clients; upselling remaining services and introducing clients to new equipment/ products.
” Actively selling clean water equipment to include Water Softeners, RO Systems, UV Filtration and CL02 Units.
” Selling chemical dosing equipment for Water Treatment systems such as Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers.
” Promoting the company’s sales and developing the commercial and financial side of the business.
” Networking with prospective clients, cold calling where required and actively sourcing new business.
” Working to agreed sales targets and KPI’s
” Promoting the companies water treatment services to new and existing clients.
” Monitor and develop the company’s budget.
” Providing clients with tenders and quotations.
” Working from an internal database and ensuring that all information is up to date.
” Attending regular finance and client meetings, providing updates and forecasting.
” Assisting in training sales staff in line with company requirements.
