Job Description
Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for a role as a Water Treatment Account Manager to join their well-established and successful water treatment company for a variety of contracts in and around the Manchester area. The successful candidate will ideally come from a strong chemical background and hold experience working with industrial water treatment system. Will have a proven track record of overseeing a portfolio of closed system, cooling tower and steam boiler accounts. Applications from Oldham, Merseyside, Huddersfield, Lancaster, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
Must have a strong educational, water treatment, chemical and accounts background.
Will have experience carrying out the chemical analysis of industrial water systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience working in this role.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
Role:
Overseeing and developing a portfolio of industrial water accounts.
Chemical Analysis/management of Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
Maintenance on Domestic and Industrial water systems.
Routine monitoring tasks.
Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
Maintain a professional relationship with clients.
Secure, manage and develop new key accounts whilst still managing existing ones.
Incorporates analysis of water treatment processes, ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines.
Manage and oversee office staff.
Dealing with Health & Safety issues.
