Job Description
Our client is a well-established name within the water treatment/hygiene industry and, due to continued success they are now looking for a confident and motivated Water Treatment Engineer / Accounts Manager to join their successful team based in and around the London area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience undertaking a wide range of water treatment tasks, including the analysis of cooling tower / steam boilers. The company will consider water treatment service engineers looking to develop into account management. Consideration will be given to applications from Basildon, Dartford, Slough, Hertford and areas with good access to the London / M25 area.
Qualifications and experience:
Will have a strong educational, chemical, technical, accounts, management and contracts background.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Experience in an accounts manager role within the water treatment industry essential.
A good working knowledge of the water industry/legislations.
Role:
Carry out service visits and manage workloads effectively – management of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems.
Dealing with Health & Safety issues.
Managing the company’s large portfolio of new and existing accounts.
Scheduling workloads to comply with the customers/clients requirements.
Management of workforce.
Preparation of quotations, tenders and all other associated paperwork.
Being involved with training requirements and appraisals.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients and offering technical advice as and when required.
Preparing reports and attending meetings.
