Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: St Albans, North London.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £38k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Profile: A long standing, and continuously expanding client is now recruiting in and around the St Albans area, looking to take on a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Facilities Management / Blue-Chip client sites, undertaking Remedial Plumbing works, routine Temperature monitoring and Cleaning and Chlorination’s. Holding the G3 Unvented ticket is desirable to the role, but the client can offer further training into this qualification.
Applications will be considered from: Hatfield, Luton, Stevenage, Hitchin, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Kempston, Bedford, Bishop Stortford, Harlow, Cambridge, Buckingham, Aylesbury.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene industry, working on Facilities management and Blue-Chip client sites.
” Will ideally hold the City and Guilds (L2/L3) in Plumbing. (Or equivalent qualification)
” Holding the G3 Unvented ticket is desirable for the role.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
The Role:
” Removing of redundant pipework and dead legs.
” Pipework rerouting and modifications.
” CWST refurbishments and installs.
” TMV installation.
” Cylinder servicing and installation. (Desirable)
” Carrying out TMV servicing and showerhead descales.
” Carrying out cleaning and chlorination’s on both Hot and Cold-Water systems.
” Undertaking temperature monitoring, regular sampling, and analysis of water systems.
” Ensuring that work is being carried out in line with ACOP L8 Regulations.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
” Using PDA / Tablet systems to complete job sheets.
