Job Description
Our client is an industry-leading water company with a strong national presence delivering services across the water treatment/hygiene and legionella sectors. They are looking to employ an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the South-West London area. The successful candidate will ideally have experience carrying out temperature monitoring and sampling tasks to a varied site base. Applications from, Woking, Epsom, Dartford, Crawley and the areas with good access to the M25 will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
Will have a strong chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Competent with cooling towers, chlorination, steam boilers etc.
A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislation.
Will ideally have previous experience servicing chemical dosing equipment.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out cleaning/chlorination and maintenance on both hot and cold-water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers.
Servicing water softeners and chemical dosing equipment.
Maintenance and servicing of TMV’s, showerheads.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Undertake training and mentoring of staff.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
