Job Description
Our client is a growing water management company who offer a range of water hygiene/treatment services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, and well-rounded Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience in delivering legionella compliance duties to a wide range of sites and contract. Consideration will be given to applications from Stafford, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Derby, and the surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications:
The applicant must come from a good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
Will have vast and varied experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Will have hands on experience carrying out remedial work on a varied site base.
Be fully conversant with relevant water treatment industry legislation.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers and cooling towers.
Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling.
Under-taking in-depth analysis of water systems including closed systems.
Communicating results and producing reports accurately.
Commissioning water systems.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.
Building and maintaining a professional working rapport with clients.
