Job Description
Our client is a well-established name in the water treatment/water hygiene company with a large nationwide presence. Due to continued success, they are now looking for an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer in and around Basingstoke area. Applications from Reading, Slough, Watford, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
The applicant must have relevant City & Guilds qualifications.
Experience of working in this role in the water treatment/water hygiene industry is essential.
Good working knowledge of current ACOP L8 guidelines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key Role:
Carrying out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
Delivering temperature monitoring and sampling regimes to a mixed portfolio of site bases.
Servicing TMVs
Showerhead descales.
Cold water tank cleaning/inspections/replacements.
Undertaking closed system analysis.
Overall, the successful candidate will be a team player with a positive working ethic.
