Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Manchester, Northwest.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Validation Engineer through to Lead Validation Engineer

Profile: Our client is a professional and established clean air company wo provide their mixed portfolio of clients with the full range of validation and LEV services. They are currently looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Validation Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will hold the BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training, they will have extensive experience carrying out cleanroom validations in accordance with HTM 0301 along side carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, noise and environmental measurements and auditing of AHUs.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector.
” Will ideally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park Training.
” Experience in undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing.
” Proven track record of Validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
” Experience of testing LEV’s, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential.
” Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
” Must have excellent organisational skills.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:

” Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
” Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
” Carrying DOP and HEPA testing.
” Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
” Maintenance of instruments & equipment. Including, arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary
” Providing support and training to site engineers
