Job Description
Our client is a successful water treatment / hygiene company with a strong presence throughout the South of England. Due to continuing success, the company, is currently looking to appoint a commercially focused and client facing Water Treatment Operations Manager based in or around the Oxford area. The successful candidate will have experience overseeing and managing site staff, liaising with clients, and working closely with contract managers and engineers ensure work is carried out in a timely manner. Consideration will be given to applications from Witney, Oxon, Bicester, the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
The individual must come from a strong technical and educational.
Previous extensive experience of working within the water treatment / hygiene / legionella industry.
Excellent communication, people/project management and organisational skills required.
Proficient with the Microsoft Package.
A good working knowledge of the asbestos/environmental Industry.
Role:
Overseeing and managing engineers and engineering department.
Liaising with clients, contract managers and engineers to book in work.
Management of warehouse, fleet, chemical and equipment stocks.
Reporting directly to senior management and taking an active role in the running of the company.
Build and maintain a strong, professional working relationship with large portfolio of clients
Comply with all relevant Health and Safety and ISO14001 requirements.
Getting involved with Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Visiting sites to ensure health and safety procedures are being followed correctly.
Undertake auditing and inspection of work carried out.
