Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Birmingham , West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Profile: A well established Legionella / Water Hygiene company, working across the UK for a range of Healthcare, Retail, Leisure, and Local authority sites. They are now looking to recruit a reliable and competent Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for and established Legionella / Water Hygiene company, ideally holding the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessment and be capable of carrying out both Risk Assessments and L8 compliance duties.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working for an established Legionella/ Water Hygiene company.
” Will ideally hold the City an Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessment.
” Will have extensive knowledge of relevant ACOP L8 / HSG 274 / HTM 04-01 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication and report writing skills.
The Role:
” Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 Guidelines.
” Undertaking surveys on client water systems.
” Carrying out servicing on TMVs.
” Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water-systems.
” Carrying out temperature monitoring, water sampling and analysis on water systems.
” Using PDA systems to create detailed site-specific reports.
” Updating job sheets and log books.
” Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
