Job Description
Our client, who is well established within the water treatment/hygiene industry have had an increase in workloads and due to this they are looking to recruit a hardworking and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber based in the Bath area. Ideally the candidate will hold hands on experience with undertaking legionella risk assessments, remedial plumbing works, undertaking water samples and creating accurate reports for clients. The ideal candidate will come from a strong water hygiene background. Applications from Trowbridge, Bristol, Taunton, Swindon and the surrounding area will be considered.
Qualifications & experience
Ideal applicant must hold the City and guilds or WMS Certificate.
Must hold previous experience within the legionella/plumbing/water treatment industry.
Ideally must be a qualified remedial plumber.
Able to effectively organise and prioritise workloads.
Good working knowledge of the current water related Health and safety guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent using IT.
Role
Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 Guidelines.
Finding faults and diagnosing problems effectively.
Undertaking water sampling.
Dealing with closed systems, TMVs, Chlorination, cleaning, and disinfections.
Undertake a variety of plumbing services.
Sign off and complete checks relating to all plumbing works.
Carry out work in accordance with the relevant health & safety procedures.
Liaise with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
Compile schematic drawings, documents, and reports for clients.
Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works.
Liaise with other team members to ensure all work is completed on time.
