Job Description
Our client is renowned for delivering outstanding water hygiene and legionella services to various clients and contract types across the country. They are presently recruiting for an experienced, dedicated, and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around the Chelmsford area. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and will have excellent water treatment industry knowledge. Applications from Basildon, Colchester, Braintree, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
Will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds.
Experienced in carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Water Hygiene industry.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties will include:
Carry out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Responsible for repair and servicing of TMV’s.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, cooling towers, tanks cleans etc.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
