Job Description
This well-established Health and Safety consultancy are looking to recruit an experienced and competent Health and Safety and Fire Consultant based in and around the Sheffield area. Consideration will be given to applications from Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Leeds and the surrounding area.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, the applicant must come from a technical/consultancy/management/asbestos/legionella background.
Must possess the NEBOSH – IOSH certificates – Health & Safety qualifications.
Extensive experience of working in this role within the asbestos and legionella industries.
Knowledge in air-monitoring/air testing, noise pollution advantageous.
Knowledge of fire risk assessments
Good communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Will be fully conversant with the relevant Health & Safety legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Attending sites to undertake various audits/inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.
* Undertaking Health & Safety risk assessments, auditing staff on site and dealing with all aspects of Health & Safety issues – IOSH.
* Carrying out Health & Safety compliance audits, etc.
* Providing technical support to the company’s large portfolio of clients.
* Build and maintain a strong working relationship with clients.
* Writing comprehensive Auditing, Health & Safety, and environmental reports.
* Conducting Safety Training courses.
