Job Description
Due to continuing success, this company, a provider of fire services to a mixed portfolio of clients is currently looking to appoint a focused Fire Protections Operations Manager in the Manchester Area. Undertaking management of staff, providing technical Support and Complying with all relevant Fire requirements. Consideration will be given to applications from St. Helens, Liverpool, Wigan, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
The individual must come from a strong technical and educational background.
Previous leading experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication, people/project management and organisational skills required.
Proficient with the Microsoft Package.
A good working knowledge of the fire/environmental Industry.
Role:
Management of staff and the various fire departments.
Ensure compliance with all quality control and quality systems.
Provide technical support and advice as required.
Build and maintain a strong, professional working relationship with large portfolio of clients
Comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements.
Produce regular performance reports for management and attend meetings to discuss findings.
Getting involved with Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Training of staff and carrying out appraisals.
Visiting sites to ensure health and safety procedures are being followed correctly.
Undertake auditing and inspection of work carried out.
