Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor/Consultant
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary / Benefits: 24,000 – 36,000 + Benefits + Training
Profile
A valuable opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful asbestos consultancy with a reputation for providing professional asbestos services across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Lead Asbestos Surveyor/Consultant based in and around the Peterborough area. The successful applicant will have demonstrated specialist asbestos knowledge, will hold the P402 qualification, and have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveying duties on a range of site types as well as bulk sampling duties.
Applications will be considered from – Huntingdon, Cambridge, Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead, Northampton, Ely, Kettering and Corby.
Experience / Qualifications:
” The successful Asbestos Surveyor/Consultant will hold the P402 certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
” Previous experience working within the asbestos sector.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Will be proficient is using Microsoft Office Package.
The Role:
” Carrying out asbestos surveys on various sites.
” Making sure all works are carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures.
” Managing day to day work effectively.
” Training new staff as and when required.
” Producing comprehensive technical asbestos reports.
” Managing workload effectively and within the time scale.
