Job Description
Our client is a specialist consultancy organisation delivering arrange of Health and Safety services to a diverse market.
They are currently seeking a dedicated Asbestos Sales/Business Development Manager to join their established business to help build upon their existing growth in London. This position could be home based.
The role will involve working with the businesses Directors in the cross selling of additional services and with a dedicated team exploring additional opportunities within current market sectors.
Duties:
To develop a network of local contacts.
To search and secure tenders for all of integrals business activities.
Foster good relations with clients to help maximize contract value.
To lead the pricing of tenders.
Be aware of when contracts are coming up for renewal and negotiate new contract without the need for re tender.
Confident at presentations and the compilation of presentations.
Liaise with other BDM’s on cross region opportunities.
Adhere to company procedures.
Any other reasonable tasks as assigned.
Skills to include:-
Applicants must have previous experience in either the asbestos, legionella or health and safety markets with existing contacts within these sectors.
Able to use software applications fully.
Excellent client facing skills.
Clear pricing strategy.
Have the ability to problem solve customer queries.
Computer literate.
Able to think outside the box and offer innovative solutions to clients.
To compile and carry out first class presentations.
Experience of sales within the public sector beneficial.
Willingness to travel within the South East.
