Job Description
This well established and fast-growing asbestos company provides a variety of services to clients across the UK. Currently, they are actively seeking a reliable Asbestos Lab Analyst in and around the Durham area. Undertaking daily tasks such as, completing record forms and correctly logging samples that have been received into the lab. . Applications from Newcastle, Sunderland, Darlington, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Will hold the P401 asbestos certificate.
Have previous experience working in an asbestos lab environment undertaking asbestos analysis of bulk samples.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have proficient IT skills including competency in using Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent attention to detail.
Key Duties:
Receiving and appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
Prepare samples for analysis.
Carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
Reporting analytical findings and completing analysis test sheets.
Assisting with any other duties as required.
