Job Description
A worthwhile opportunity has arisen within an esteemed and national asbestos company. They currently have an opening for an experienced and hardworking Asbestos Auditor based in and around the Slough area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out asbestos audits on a range of site types ensuring compliance with health & safety guidelines, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will either hold extensive experience working within the asbestos removal industry or will hold the P403/4 asbestos certificates and will be fully conversant in relevant health & safety legislation relating to asbestos. Consideration will be given to applicants from Berkshire, Reading, Bracknell, and the surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a combination of the P403/4 asbestos certificates or abatement experience.
Must have significant experience undertaking asbestos audits on a variety of site types.
Must be well-versed in all relevant health & safety guidelines relating to asbestos.
Must have proficient IT skills including competency using Microsoft Office package.
Must have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out site audits to ensure compliance with all asbestos related legislation and health & safety polices/guidelines.
Provide asbestos consultation advice to clients, customers and colleagues.
Attend staff meetings as when required.
Ensure audits are being delivered in line with company quality assurance guidelines.
Ensure audits are completed complying to all relevant health & safety guidelines
Build and maintain a professional working rapport with clients, customers and colleagues.
Overall, the successful applicant will be a committed and hardworking individual with the ability to deliver and audits effectively.
