Our client is a major player within the water hygiene/legionella arena offering the complete range of services for industrial and commercial water treatment markets across the UK.

Presently, they are looking for a high calibre, commercially focused and committed Water Treatment Sales/Accounts Manager based in and around the London area. Applications welcome from Essex, Kent, London and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have hands on water treatment account management and sales experience.

Will have extensive experience working on Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers and Closed systems.

Must have good formal education and come from a strong technical, chemical, accounts, operational, business development, sales, contracts and management background.

Must have excellent communication, client facing, presentation, organisational, leadership and people management skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the water treatment industry legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the company's diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts

Generating new business leads - selling the company's water treatment consultancy services across the country.

Meeting and achieving targets and goals.

Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with water legislation.

Ensuring that the Water Treatment Engineers carry out the work in a cost-effective manner and at the same time comply with the Health & Safety regulation.

Updating the clients with progress reports.

Using the Database effectively.

Preparing quotations.

Getting involved Key Performance Indicators.

Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems.

Providing technical advice to clients from all levels.

Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.

Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.

Collating and preparing comprehensive reports.
