Our client is a fast growing and highly successful multi-disciplined organisation, who are committed to providing a variety of professional services within the asbestos, environmental and water sectors. Due current business requirements, they are now seeking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious Asbestos Business Development/Sales Consultant to work for them in and around Leicester area. The successful candidate will come from a strong asbestos sales background and have extensive experience growing and developing a varied portfolio of new and existing asbestos clients. Consideration will be given to applications from Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Derby and the surrounding areas.


Ideally, they are looking for a professional who comes from a strong sales, business development, account management and consultancy background.

They must have a proven record working within a sales/business development role, ideally within the asbestos industry, although consideration will be given to those working in other sectors.

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, leadership, presentations and client facing skills.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Will ideally have a knowledge of asbestos legislation and guidelines.

Key Role:

Generating new business leads whilst still managing the company's existing accounts.

Managing the sales staff/team.

Managing the financial side of the business with regards to profit and loss.

Working to Key Performance Indicators.

Ensuring that all work is carried out is carried out according to the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients on a regular basis.

Liaising with managers and staff - providing plans.

Attending meetings as and when required.

Pricing and tendering.

Managing the sales activities of the company.

Maintaining the company's database.

Achieving target and goals.

Developing plans for new clients and suppliers.


Overall, the successful post-holder will be of smart disposition, commercially focused, versatile, independent and astute and have the ability to take the business a step further.
