Our client is part of a alrge Environemnatl consultancy Group with offices thrughout the UK. Part of there group is leading provider of integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals and equipment programs for a variety of industrial and commercial cleints.
The company are now actively seeking a Risk Assessor to carry out Legionella risk assessments and related work relative to hygiene services and to provide technical assistance and support to sales staff and customers relative to hygiene services and risk assessments. They would be homebased to cover contracts UK wide to cover contracts within 2 hours of home.

The responsibilities of the role include: carrying out Legionella risk assessments to company standards; providing technical assistance and support to sales staff and customers on Legionella and Legionella control issues; ensuring that all work is carried out to established company, industry, legislative, QA and Health and Safety standards; co-ordinating scheduling of risk assessments; participating in and carrying out risk assessment reviews when requested; assisting in the preparation of reports detailing problems and solutions to initiate necessary corrective action; supporting others in training of new risk assessors; developing and maintaining contacts and good working relationships with sales staff across all Environemntal Sectors; seeking to keep abreast of the latest industry advances; building a reputation of reliability with customers, both internal and external; supporting the company's commitment to the guiding principles of Responsible Care, to continually improve the company's health, safety and environmental performance and supporting the company's Quality Plans strategies.

The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of personal computers including CAD software and have excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a minimum of one/two years relevant industry experience. They must have completed or be working towards completing the company's Risk Assessor training programme; they must have a basic knowledge of Legionella related microbiology, water treatment, and mechanical services and a knowledge of Legionella related legislation and guidelines.
